Women's Basketball

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were not able to compete during the 2020-2021 season, therefore, our student-athletes are more determined and motivated than ever to represent UMW this season.  

As we look to compete in the new C2C Conference, we will be faced with new challenges but more importantly new opportunities that bring new room for growth. As the C2C stretches from the East Coast to the West Coast, we have our sights on playing in the inaugural conference tournament in Santa Cruz, California.  

To make this season twice as memorable for our young women, we need your help! We led the entire athletic department in total community service hours; our student-athletes were hyper focused on staying actively engaged and involved in our community. Our goal for next year is to provide them with the tools they’ll need to accomplish their mission in the classroom and on the court; your generosity makes a huge difference! 

Your gift will: 

• Help us provide us with new gear and equipment so these young women can have the best possible experience and have the tools needed to be successful.  
• Help us provide elite transportation to games, giving our student-athletes the opportunity to travel in busses that have Wi-Fi so they are able to stay focused on academics.
• Help us provide suitable meals during winter break and game days.
