The University of Mary Washington Women’s Lacrosse team has built an impressive culture of success at both the conference and national levels, including 14 NCAA Division III Tournament appearances and 280 wins since 2000. We strive to provide our student-athletes with a fantastic experience that will leave them with a lifetime of memories, as well as push them to be their best both on the field and in the classroom. Of equal importance, our team also performs in the classroom with a team GPA of 3.45 this past year, an impressive 26 student-athletes named to the C2C All-Academic Team, and 10 named to the IWLCA Honor Roll.
Our team, made up of 29 women, consistently competes at the top of Division III in women's lacrosse. Our fundraising efforts go toward our goal of providing an outstanding experience for all of our program's athletes. Our equipment needs each year include gear, sticks, and practice equipment which helps us continue to be a top competitive program. In order to further provide our program with great team experiences, future spring break travel, and equipment outlined above we ask for your support to help with expenses that exceed what can be feasibly provided by the UMW Athletics Department.
