Thank you for choosing to support UMW Softball during the UMW Athletics #CallingAllEagles Challenge!

University of Mary Washington Women’s Softball has built a competitive program, competing in the conference championships, and at the regional and national levels. The Capital Athletic Conference is among the best nationally and our sights are now set on earning a spot in the 2021 NCAA Tournament next May!

In a season that was cut short due to COVID-19, we were looking to compete for the 2020 CAC Softball Championship. During this incomplete season, our student-athletes exhibited a strong commitment to success on the field and in the classroom. We enjoyed a fun and great team bonding experience in Arizona for spring break, participating in the Tucson Invitational games; our first trip to West Coast as a program! Most importantly, our student-athletes earned high marks in the classroom as well, achieving a team GPA of 3.246 with 10 student-athletes named to the CAC All-Academic Team!

Your gift will:

• Help provide each player with a batting helmet and other important safety equipment, including catchers gear.
• Allow our student-athletes to participate in activities that will enhance leadership skills, particularly with diversity and inclusion.
• Help us renovate the Bullpen and Batting Stations
