Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Rocky Horror UMW Club carries on the long-standing tradition, both at the University of Mary Washington and far beyond, of performing a shadow cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show every Halloween. We provide an immersive and entertaining live experience to the student body and create a safe space for students to explore the performing arts in an environment that supports them in their creative endeavors.
Your support of our club would go toward costume pieces, set dressing, and bags of props for audience participation. After the COVID-19 pandemic, we had struggled to get back on our feet- but last year we had 180 people in the audience for our one-night-only show, and with this year’s increased number of performances and larger cast, we’re delighted to be back and better than ever!
