Our Crowdfunding Groups
The UMW Climbing Club works with the local climbing gym and the university to introduce and advertise indoor and outdoor climbing experiences with our students. We seek to not only foster an appreciation for exercise and wellness but also responsible stewardship for the outdoors of the greater Fredericksburg area. We promote ecological principles through things like river cleanup along the trails to keep the community we love to climb in clean and safe. The club has weekly meets at Rapp Rocks, the local climbing gym, as well as outings to various outdoor climbing sites in the area.
Your support will not only help us in purchasing the necessary equipment to safely and consistently climb outdoors but also allow us to branch out to other climbing gyms and events to give our climbers the opportunity and motivation to improve and get involved in the climbing community.
