Our Crowdfunding Groups
Students for Justice in Palestine is a chapter of the National SJP organization. Our mission is to create a space to learn about the Arab-Israeli conflict and provide opportunities for student advocates and activists to organize in support of Palestinian liberation and human rights. Through educational forums and meetings to hands-on action and legislation building, UMW students can take a stand in their own community for the rights of Palestinians abroad.
The funds raised will be used to bring speakers to UMW to educate via teach-ins as well as facilitate discussion forums between differing groups in the conflict. It will also cover the basic organizing costs included in club planning.
