The UMW Tea Party

The UMW Tea Party fosters fellowship, cultural appreciation, and lifelong learning through educational and social events centered around tea culture. Our inclusive programming promotes cross-cultural exchange and understanding while exploring the cultural, historical, and contemporary significance of tea traditions worldwide. We host workshops and discussions on topics, including sustainable sourcing, health and wellness, and mindfulness practices, all while building community through our shared love of tea. 

With your generosity, we'll be able to provide our members with new types of tea to try, tea-serving equipment like disposable cups and mugs and beverage dispensers, supplies for our tea party crafts, and organize field trips to local tea rooms, shops, and historical sites related to tea culture. We are a new club this semester—and we’re growing fast! Your gift, regardless of size, can help us build an awesome organization for future fun-loving and tea-drinking Eagles.
