Description
With an average roster of 18 players, our fundraising efforts are a priority for our student-athlete experience. As our program continues to grow, so do our needs in all areas of our program. Last year, support from donors like you made it possible for our team to travel for top-level tournaments across the country and all the way to our first-ever win at the NCAA National Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana!
Your donation will help fund:
- Team travel outside of the region for the ability to continue competing at top-level tournaments nationally, as far as Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Necessary gear and accessories for success, like travel suits, tennis shoes, warm-up tops, and sweat suits.

Gifts of any size make a real and lasting difference for this team, and every contribution moves us closer to another championship season.
Introducing the Talon Society for Men's Basketball!
New this year, donors of $1,000 or more to Friends of Men’s Basketball will enjoy a season of exclusive, behind-the-scenes access, beginning with a pre-game reception in the President’s Box for our home opener on November 14. Be there to celebrate our national championship banner unveiling! Coach Kahn and a player also will join us to preview the game and season.
Talon Society members will also be invited to two additional pre-game receptions in the President’s Box, beginning 45 minutes before tip-off, with refreshments and updates from the coaching staff. Members also will have the opportunity to attend the team’s morning practice on Homecoming Saturday. In addition, supporters will stay connected through two email updates from the coaching staff featuring a season update and a look ahead.
Thank you so much for your support of UMW Basketball!
