Women in Business

The Women in Business club’s mission is to empower women entering the workforce by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed professionally. Our club helps members learn how to interview, advocate for their value, collaborate with others, understand how business works outside of the classroom, and confidently navigate important career decisions, such as when and how to ask for a raise. Our initiatives have significantly boosted members’ confidence and career readiness, fostering a supportive community. Last year, donations helped us secure guest speakers and provide them with a gift for speaking to our club. We also used it to fund an end-of-semester dinner for the club. 

The funding from this year will be used to invite guest speakers, host professional development events, and organize another amazing end-of-semester dinner to celebrate our members and their accomplishments. It will also support our monthly meetings by providing food, drinks, and desserts to encourage attendance and participation.
