Pre-Health Society

UMW’s Pre-Health Society’s mission is to help students achieve their goal of a career in healthcare through education, networking, exposure to professional school admissions, guest speakers, and extracurricular activities. The society provides a forum for discussion of pre-health schools, careers, and undergraduate curriculum and helps connect students to program admissions and administration officers, professional students, and practicing professionals in healthcare. Furthermore, we collaborate with several other clubs and organizations to organize activities through which our members can gain volunteer experience. Last year, we used donations to purchase suture kits that students used when we hosted a class.

This year, your support will help us host hands-on, medical-based activities such as a suture classes, medical service trips, and potential visits to hospitals to watch procedures. It will also help us provide members with club merchandise and host events like game and movie nights to recruit new members.
