Student Government Association
Description
The Student Government Association (SGA) at UMW serves as the official voice of the student body by representing student interests to faculty, administration, and the Board of Visitors. It advocates for student needs, works on policy initiatives to improve campus life, and ensures student concerns are heard. In addition, it fosters community engagement by hosting events and encouraging collaboration across the student body. In the past, SGA has used funding to expand the period product campaign on campus as well as to enact various other programs to support the student body at UMW.
Your support will help us expand the period product campaign at UMW. Gifts will also be used to gather student data and share student opinions with the administration. Additionally, funding may be used to start a shuttle service to support on- and off-campus student safety.
