Thank you for choosing to support Men’s Rugby during the UMW Athletics #CallingAllEagles Challenge!
Mary Washington men’s rugby is trying to achieve three primary goals with all of our student-athletes. First, we want them to have an outstanding experience and graduate. Secondly, we will do everything possible to help our players improve on the field. Lastly, we want to teach through sport. Rugby provides countless opportunities to learn and grow through teammates, coaches, opponents and competition.
Our biggest fundraising need is travel expenses. Wanting to provide the players with excellent competition requires some trips outside of our immediate geographic area. These trips also happen to help accomplish the goals of great times together and countless memories. In addition, we need help with providing equipment and supplies for all of our athletes so they can be successful, which certainly goes well beyond what a department’s budget can provide.
