Thank you for considering supporting UMW’s Buddhist Student Sangha Club! Students of varying religious and cultural backgrounds make up our unique organization and ecstatically explore the ancient practice of Buddhism. We educate members on the history and philosophy of The Buddha and explore great ways to stay mindful, sit in gratitude, and be of service to others. We’re always trying to teach through experiences to our fellow club members, whether they are visits/retreats to Buddhist temples, hiking/camping trips to practice mindful meditation with the sunrise and sunset, or even attending an educated keynote speaker’s presentation.
We would be immensely grateful for your support to make these experiences possible. Any and all donations will go to our club members who may need hiking or camping gear, money for gas or retreat expenses, and, of course, properly compensating guest speakers at the club. For bonding experiences such as movie nights or tea gatherings, the Buddhist Club’s board would like to provide snacks and meals to our dedicated members. Money raised will also cover any supplies needed for volunteer work, such as cleaning and maintaining our school’s Zen Garden. We want to make all of these beautiful moments more accessible to club members who may not have the opportunity to save such funds for these educational and life-changing experiences.
Thank you for your generosity and enthusiastic support!
