Our Crowdfunding Groups
The University of Mary Washington Cheerleading Team was founded in 1988. It has been primarily funded by donations and athlete contributions since its creation. The team has come a long way since its creation. Last year the team scored a program-best of 280 points and claimed one Advanced All-Girl Collegiate Championship Title, one Advanced All-Girl Collegiate National Championship Title, and one School Division Grand Championship Title. This year we would like to continue making history within our program by attending the NCA Collegiate National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is the highest level of competition at the Collegiate level. Throughout the year our club cheers at both men’s and women’s basketball games, compete in competitions, holds fundraising events, participates in on-campus events, and attends community events such as the Fredericksburg Holiday Parade. With your support, we plan to use the money raised to pay for competition and travel fees, as well as equipment and items to benefit both teams.
