Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Latino Student Association (LSA) was founded to create a space for Latino students to celebrate and share their culture with others. Our mission is to create a safe space for Latinos in higher education, to educate the public and one another about Latino health issues, advocate for increased Latino representation in all global sectors, and promote awareness about social, political, and economic issues as they relate to our community.
Throughout the year, LSA celebrates and empowers the voices of Latino students through educational panels discussing our communities, celebrations that highlight the diversity of our culture, and donation drives that give back to our communities.
With the funds raised, LSA plans to support these efforts by developing more outreach with surrounding Latino communities and continuing to host events that align with our mission. We plan to sponsor events that will educate and inform people about Latino communities, support small businesses that we plan to work with in the future, create events that showcase Latino culture, and bring all students together on campus!
