Your gift, no matter the size, strengthens Mary Washington, and a strong Mary Washington benefits us all. Whether you give $5, $50, or $500, every gift is critical to the success of the University and ultimately our students.
While a gift to any area on campus benefits students and the University, this year we are actively advocating for contributions to the Fund for Mary Washington. As the University's unrestricted fund, The Fund for Mary Washington fuels the exceptional education and meaningful connections for which the University is known and loved. During the 2023-24 academic year, gifts to the Fund for Mary Washington underwrote technology upgrades, accessibility improvements, new student support, and programs for civic engagement and student health. Loyal support to the Fund also translates to scholarships, small class sizes, and reduced student debt.
Alumni of the last decade have a special opportunity to join our President's Circle. Usually a gift of $2,500, members of the classes of 2015-2024 can make a gift of $500 or more to the Fund for Mary Washington and join our President's Circle. President’s Circle members are recognized with their name on a donor wall outside of the President’s Office in GW and are invited to special events throughout the year. You can break out your gift into monthly payments and be a President's Circle member as long as the full $500 is fulfilled by the end of our fiscal year, June 30th. If your employer offers corporate matching, your gift, and your employer's matching gift, count towards your giving total.
