Our Crowdfunding Groups
UMW’s chapter of Global Medical Brigades (GMB) travels to Panama for one week during winter break to deliver free medical and dental care to rural and indigenous communities. Throughout the fall semester, students raise money, collect supplies, and plan the clinic. GMB requires student volunteers to secure $2,700 to pay for supplies, physicians/dentists, and travel costs.
With your support, we will be able to lower the donation goal for individual volunteers to make the club more affordable and accessible to students.
