Our Crowdfunding Groups
Columns is UMW’s first student-led academic humanities and social science journal. Established two years ago, we have successfully published four journals, and dozens of students have gained experience editing and working with an academic journal. We plan on holding a Harvest Festival Book Sale, tabling events to promote Columns, a citation workshop, and our symposium at the end of the semester, among other activities.
With your generous support, we can print issues for the 2024 fall journal, hold our semester symposium, print flyers to promote Columns, and purchase snacks/refreshments for event supplies.
