Our Crowdfunding Groups
The purpose of the UMW Enigma Winterguard is to teach dance, flag, rifle, and sabre skills to students of all levels. We aim to create a fun, inclusive, and exciting environment in which everyone works together to grow and improve both as individuals and as a team. Throughout the year, we design and choreograph a 4-minute show displaying all our hard-work and creativity. Our name ‘enigma’ means “a person or thing that is mysterious or puzzling; a saying, question, picture, etc., containing a hidden meaning.” We, in a sense, are a puzzle with each person adding their own unique personality to create one group and one show that tells a meaningful story. In the spring semester, we compete this show at Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) competitions.
Your support will assist us in paying for competition fees, new equipment, flag silks, costumes, and other expenses that arise during the course of our season.
