Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Belly Dance Team helps members learn about cultures separate from their own while increasing the confidence of our members. Throughout the year, the club performs at events like Small Show, Taste of Asia, Colors of Africa, Women of Color, Multicultural Fair, and other on-campus events. We also perform outside of UMW, doing multicultural events at elementary and middle schools, as well as for the downtown community in the library.
Your support will allow us to secure an instructor for the spring semester and provide costumes for members who want to perform but do not have the resources.
