UMW Renaissance Club

The UMW Renaissance Club is an inclusive student organization dedicated to studying, interpreting, and reenacting arts and culture from before 1603. We organize hands-on workshops and classes to learn about crafts and life in the past, and facilitate the practice of historical fencing, archery, and more with members of the Fredericksburg community. Our activities include annual field trips to Renaissance fairs and museums, on-campus social gatherings, and participation in Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) events throughout the region. We pride ourselves on the mentorship community we've built among current students, alumni, and local SCA members. 

Your support will help us purchase craft materials and sports equipment to further our studies, and supplement ticket and transportation costs for our annual trips and community engagement.
