Columns: UMW Journal for the Humanities and Social Sciences

Columns is UMW’s first student-led academic humanities and social science journal. We promote undergraduate research and provide experience through the publishing of an academic journal each semester and the hosting of an event symposium. Established three years ago, we have successfully published five journals, and dozens of students have gained experience editing and working with an academic journal.

With your generous support, we'll be able to print journal issues, host our semester symposium, create promotional materials, purchase event supplies and refreshments, and promote undergraduate research opportunities across campus.
