Latino Student Association

The Latino Student Association (LSA) creates a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for the Latino community at UMW while remaining open to all students. We celebrate Latino heritage, culture, and identity through educational programming, cultural events, and community-building activities. Highlights include Latino Identities Month and various cultural celebrations that both educate the campus community and provide support and connection for Latino students.

Our mission is to educate the public and each other about Latino communities, advocate for increased Latino representation across all sectors, raise awareness of social, political, and economic issues affecting Latinos, and celebrate the richness of Latin cultures. Your support will help fund LSA events throughout the year and ensure a meaningful, comprehensive Latino Identities Month that honors our community’s heritage and contributions.
