Best Buddies

UMW Best Buddies is part of a national organization prioritizing accessibility, inclusivity, and engagement as we foster meaningful relationships between student members and Fredericksburg community members with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Through activities like downtown walks, holiday parties, and dance classes, we create social connections that enrich everyone involved. Our programming promotes understanding, breaks down barriers, and builds lasting friendships that extend beyond campus boundaries. 

Your support will help us better promote our organization and expand our events to include as many students and community buddies as possible, creating more opportunities for meaningful connections and inclusive programming.
