Is there a minimum gift amount?

Yes. Donors must make a gift of $15-$40 or more to the Fund for Mary Washington via this page to receive any of these items. Please note: only gifts made to the Fund for Mary Washington are eligible for these items.

Can you tell me more about each item?

UMW and MWC Playing Cards are poker size printed in full color process on premium casino grade linen playing card stock. Size dimensions: 2 1/2" W x 3 1/2" H 

Reversible Bucket Hat is made of 100% polyester and features UMW line art of buildings and campus favorites. Offered in two sizes — Adult (brim diameter 27.4 cm / 10.8", crown height 8.5 cm / 3.3") and Youth (brim diameter 25 cm / 9.8", crown height 8 cm / 3.1"). Sizing may vary up to ±5%.

Belt Bag is made of polyester material and comes with 1 main compartment including mesh slots, and one back zipper pocket to keep stuff organized. Size dimensions: 7.9" x 5.9" x 2.0" 

Beach Towel is made of 100% cotton and is lightweight, but has high water absorption. Size dimensions: oversized 39" x 71"

When will I receive my item(s)?

Your item will be shipped within two to three weeks after you have made your gift.

Can I get more than one item?

Yes, but only if you make separate transactions each time. Multiple items being sent to the same address will be mailed together as packaging is available.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, we can ship internationally.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. You will receive a tax receipt via email after you make your gift. However, please note that there is an exchange of goods (the playing cards, bucket hat, belt bag, or beach towel) upon your donation. The fair market value ($5-$15) of the item provided will reduce the tax credit of your gift, in accordance with federal tax regulations, and this will be noted on your email receipt. If you have any questions about the tax-deductibility of your gift, please consult your tax advisor.
