UPDATE: We are thrilled to see all of the love for UMW, our students, and these totes! ALL TOTES HAVE NOW BEEN CLAIMED, but we are still gratefully accepting gifts through this site. Your gift to the Fund for Mary Washington will help provide scholarships, support faculty, and improve the student experience across campus. Although you will not receive a tote for your gift, you will have our deepest gratitude.

Now through September 30, make a gift of $35 or more to the Fund for Mary Washington and we'll send you this one-of-a-kind tote bag so you can take Mary Wash with you wherever you go.

Donors' recent gifts to the Fund for Mary Washington have helped us make strides across campus, including technology upgrades, accessibility improvements, new student support, and programs for civic engagement and student health. Gifts to the Fund also translate to scholarships, small class sizes, and reduced student debt.

Is there a minimum gift amount?

Totes are all gone.Yes. Donors must make a gift of $35 or more to the Fund for Mary Washington via this page to receive the UMW tote bag. Please note: only gifts made to the Fund for Mary Washington are eligible for a tote bag. 

Can you tell me more about the tote bag?

Totes are all gone.These tote bags are made of heavy canvas material with an inside zipper pocket and full side and bottom gusset. Size dimensions: 17''W x13''Hx5''D and 22'' handles.

When will I receive my tote?

Totes are all gone.Your tote should arrive in the mail within two to three weeks after you have made your gift.

Can I get more than one tote bag?

Totes are all gone.Yes, but only if you make separate transactions each time. Only one bag will be mailed per transaction.

Can you ship internationally?

Totes are all gone.Yes, we can ship internationally.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Totes are all gone.Yes. You will receive a tax receipt via email after you make your gift. However, please note that there was an exchange of goods (the tote bag) upon your donation. The fair market value ($15) of the tote bag provided will reduce the tax credit of your gift, in accordance with federal tax regulations, and this will be noted on your email receipt. If you have any questions about the tax-deductibility of your gift, please consult your tax advisor.
