As UMW’s unrestricted fund, it fuels the exceptional education and meaningful connections that define the Mary Wash experience. Last year gifts to the Fund powered innovative student- and faculty-led projects, such as a cornerstone first-year success workshop, essential technology upgrades, life-changing passport grants for first-time travelers, vital accessibility improvements, and vibrant campus art and health initiatives that enrich our entire community. Loyal support also means more scholarships, small class sizes, and reduced student debt.

Alumni of the last decade have a special opportunity to join our President's Circle. Usually a gift of $2,500, members of the classes of 2016-2025 can make a gift of $500 or more to the Fund for Mary Washington and join our President's Circle. President’s Circle members are recognized with their name on a donor wall outside of the President’s Office in GW and are invited to special events throughout the year. You can break out your gift into monthly payments and be a President's Circle member as long as the full $500 is fulfilled by the end of our fiscal year, June 30th. If your employer offers corporate matching, your gift and your employer's matching gift, count towards your giving total.
